Get your Instrument Rating!
To be eligible for your certificate you must:
- Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate
- Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
- Hold an FAA issued medical certificate
- Pass a knowledge test (CATS)
- Pass a practical test (a one-on-one oral quiz and flight test with an FAA designated examiner)
- Have accrued 50 hours of Cross Country flight time as Pilot in Command
Minimum flight training requirements:
- 40 total hours actual or simulated instrument flight time.
